ICT Project Transformation Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership skills to manage end-to-end ICT projects from initiation through to delivery and handover to operations.

The successful candidate will lead project teams including department staff, contractors, and external vendors to deliver timely, high-quality, and fit-for-purpose outcomes aligned to business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of ICT systems reform initiatives
  • Coordinate project teams, engage stakeholders, and oversee risk and change management processes
  • Ensure timely, fit-for-purpose outcomes by managing project budgets, schedules, and quality
  • Support modernisation and uplift of Application Services through streamlined ICT systems

Requirements:

Essential: Strong leadership skills, ability to manage complex projects, and excellent communication skills

Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT or related field

Special Conditions:

  • The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check prior to employment, renewed every five years
  • RRHAN–EC Facilitator Lead extended course or the online course, updated every three years
