We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team at KU Children's Services. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing early intervention services to children aged birth to 12 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support children's communication and developmental needs
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for children
  • Conduct assessments and administer standardized tests to identify children's strengths and areas for improvement
  • Provide regular progress reports and feedback to families and other stakeholders
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field
Requirements
  • Australian recognized tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
  • Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases
  • Meticulous time management and organisation skills
  • Current drivers' license and use of a comprehensively insured, registered motor vehicle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check or willing to obtain
  • A Medicare Provider number or willing to obtain
