Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our organization as the Director of State Operations. This exciting opportunity will appeal to an executive seeking a permanent appointment in a vibrant and action-oriented organization with a track record of excellence in delivering essential services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of state operations, directing high-level projects with a state-wide impact, and optimizing the efficient use of operational resources. They will drive a coordinated approach to operations across key functional areas, develop and foster high-level relationships with external agencies, and play a vital role in emergency support and incident management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate proven ability to devote time to both strategy and operational leadership in a large-scale dynamic environment, and have experience in fire and rescue service delivery.
