Job Title: Structural Drafter

AW Maritime Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Structural Drafter to join our team in Geelong, Victoria.

About the Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated and team-orientated individual with proven experience in delivering high-quality drawings in an efficient manner. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of structural and coastal engineers to develop documentation and prepare structural drawings using Auto CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop documentation to support maritime structural and planning solutions
  • Prepare structural drawings using Auto CAD software
  • Prepare structural 3D models using REVIT software
  • Undertake field work within the marine environment, including condition inspections of maritime infrastructure and working with contractors to provide construction phase services
  • Ensure project deadlines are being met while following quality requirements and applicable local and national standards
Requirements:
  • Completion of relevant studies
  • Existing experience in either Auto CAD or REVIT
  • Ideal experience in structural projects, but not essential
  • Excellent drawing checking ability with an eye for detail
  • Passion for the coast and marine environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
