Senior Environmental Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with specialist design teams, providing expert environmental management advice and support throughout the project lifecycle.
">- Provide environmental management advice on post-approval requirements and compliance to internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with specialist design teams, including engineers, flood modelers, geotechnical, contamination, ecology, and heritage specialists
- Ensure environmental requirements are communicated to technical disciplines
- Prepare technical reports and associated supporting documentation, including maps, figures, and plans
- Ensure timely on-scope delivery of environmental deliverables, providing environmental support to specialist design teams
- Drive project environmental compliance and performance, including environmental inspections/audits as required
The ideal candidate will have 3-15 years' experience as an Environmental professional, including experience working on civil infrastructure projects. In addition, they will bring relevant skills and qualifications, such as:
- Providing post-approval and compliance advice
- Design and construction-related support to design teams
- Coordinating technical specialists
- Identification of appropriate mitigation measures for environmental non-conformances
- Knowledge of environmental legislation applicable to construction projects
