Senior Environmental Professional

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a senior environmental professional to join our contaminated land team. Our team is experienced in planning and executing environmental site assessment and remediation projects, which improve the health and wellbeing of communities.
As a senior environmental scientist/engineer, you will provide strategic and practical solutions to clients with a broad range of environmental management challenges under the guidance of an experienced project director.
Key responsibilities include:
- Project management of contaminated land projects, including planning, execution of fieldwork, coordination of internal resources, contractor management, budget management, and client correspondence.
- Assisting with the scope, design, and costing of contaminated land and groundwater investigations.
- Mentoring and training junior professionals throughout the delivery of projects.
- Leading the preparation of technical reports, presenting information in a clear and logical manner, supported by appropriate interpretation of technical data in accordance with relevant guidelines and legislation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in environmental science/engineering, geology, hydrogeology, environmental chemistry, or a related field.
- 5-10 years' experience within the field of contaminated land assessment and/or environmental assessment and remediation.
- Strong project management, analytical, reporting, and verbal communication skills.
- A client service focus with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in team environments.
- A valid/current driver's licence.
