We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Administrator to join our practice in Spring Farm. This is a challenging role that requires exceptional customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
This position involves managing the front desk reception area, welcoming patients to the centre and assisting with administrative tasks. You will be working closely with the Practice Manager to maintain accreditation, implement initiatives and promotions, and improve centre performance.
As a Medical Administrator, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting all patients and medical representatives with exceptional customer service skills, assisting patients to complete necessary forms and documents, answering incoming calls and dealing with inquiries, attending to patient billing using the procedure/practice software, collecting payments and processing Medicare, DVA and Work-cover claims.
You will also be required to undertake staff management, manage the waiting room including patient flow and tidiness, general tidying and cleaning duties, and ordering medical and office supplies.
This is a casual position, working 8 hour shifts, with the possibility of future career growth and development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, leadership skills, prior experience as a medical receptionist, ability to multi-task and thrive in a busy working environment, and a friendly approachable manner.
