Medical Science Liaison - Nephrology Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Science Liaison to support our Nephrology team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be accountable for all medical activities across Australia and responsible for building relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong scientific data and advocacy skills, as well as experience in managing symposia, speaker training, and advisory boards. A degree qualification in Life Sciences or related fields is essential, and proven experience as an MSL or commercial/sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for all medical activities across Australia
  • Building and maintaining relationships with KOL's and HCP's
  • Using the support of strong scientific data to build advocacy
  • Support and influence national medical teams and ANZ cross-functional teams
  • Manage symposiums, speaker training, and advisory boards
  • Maintain the highest level of knowledge across all competing products
  • Opportunity to work on multiple projects such as initiated investigated research

Requirements:

  • Degree qualifications in Life Sciences or related fields (PhD highly regarded)
  • Proven experience as an MSL or commercial/sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong presentation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to be versatile, adapt to different situations bringing creative ideas
  • High organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
