About the Role

Cubic Transportation Systems (Australia) Pty Limited is seeking a skilled Tradesperson to join our team as a Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our Field Services team, you will be responsible for providing front-line support for the Automatic Ticketing maintenance, ensuring a fast response maintenance service to all users throughout the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform safety checks, dis-connection and re-connection of equipment and supporting devices
  • Provide preventative maintenance, remedial maintenance, and ETS devices Installation works as required
  • Support local networks, software rollouts, and vandalism call outs to meet our contractual obligation and ensure the ticketing system operates at its optimum performance level

Requirements

  • Trade Qualification Electrician License or Auto Electrical with mechanical background
  • TAFE trade certificate
  • Current Fair-Trading license (if applicable)
  • Holder of Class C driver's license
  • RIW card
  • Construction White Card

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Able to understand complex electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, and demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Excellent time management skills
