Aptella is currently seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team in Silverwater, NSW.

About the Role: This full-time permanent position will involve carrying out machine system installations and repairs for customers, with a focus on Machine Control Systems and site solutions. You will be responsible for onsite and workshop-based installations, calibration and commissioning of machine systems, trouble shooting, problem solving, technical support, servicing and maintaining equipment, and customer training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of machine control systems and equipment at client sites
  • Calibration and commissioning of machine systems and attachments
  • Trouble shooting and resolving technical issues
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Providing customer training and support

About You: To be successful in this role, you will require trade qualifications as an Auto Electrician, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle mechanic. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills. You should also have a strong understanding of Electrical and Hydraulic systems, and the ability to build and manage customer relationships and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification in Auto Electrician, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle mechanic
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills
  • Understanding of Electrical and Hydraulic systems
  • Ability to build and manage customer relationships and expectations

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience.
