About the Opportunity

The Senior Clinician is responsible for the leadership and management of a diverse team of clinical professionals. The role involves coordinating and planning clinical service delivery across key service pathways for offenders with varying needs.

As a seasoned practitioner, the Senior Clinician maintains a small caseload of complex offenders and provides supervision, coaching, and mentoring to clinicians to ensure high-quality interventions. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with prison operations to achieve offender rehabilitation and reintegration goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of clinical professionals
  • Coordinate and plan clinical service delivery across key service pathways
  • Maintain a small caseload of complex offenders
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring to clinicians
  • Liaise with prison operations to achieve offender rehabilitation and reintegration goals

Requirements

  • Full registration as a Psychologist or Social Worker with the relevant professional body
  • Two or more years of experience as a registered practitioner in a correctional, clinical, or relevant setting
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, provide clinical supervision, and develop effective interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to prepare complex clinical reports
