Leadership Clinician

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinician to join our team at Fulham Correctional Centre, part of The GEO Group Australia.

This is a dynamic leadership role that will provide you with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of prisoners and their families.

The successful applicant will lead, manage, and supervise a diverse team of clinical professionals who work with prisoners to reduce their risk of re-offending.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and planning clinical service delivery across key service pathways for serious violent offenders, general offenders, and drug and alcohol offenders.
• Maintaining a small caseload of complex offenders and providing supervision, coaching, and mentoring to clinicians.
• Liaising with prison operations on issues related to offender rehabilitation and reintegration.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Full registration as a Psychologist or Social Worker with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) or Australian Association of Social Work (AASW), respectively, or eligibility to do so.
• Two or more years of experience as a registered practitioner completing assessments, individual and group interventions, in a correctional, clinical, or other relevant setting, preferably with mandated clients.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of clinical professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and vet complex clinical reports.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, depending on experience.
