Fire Protection Technician Role

This role involves traveling to Defence sites for remedial and maintenance works, focusing on Wet Fire Systems and Fire Fighting Equipment.

The job requires conducting routine inspections, testing, servicing, and installing Wet Fire Systems, as well as assisting in preparing customer quotations and identifying remedial work. The technician will also isolate panels for testing, handle administrative tasks, and upload job deliveries and completions.

Skills and qualifications required include:

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification in Fire Protection (desired)
  • Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118
  • Driver's License
  • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded
