Fire Alarm Technician

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Fire Panel technician and programmer with a deep understanding of the fire industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, maintaining, and commissioning electrical fire panels, as well as conducting thorough testing on wet and dry fire systems.

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will possess in-depth knowledge of fire systems and compliance with relevant standards. You will be part of a specialist team focused on service, repairs, and maintenance work, working closely with the Service Scheduler and Service Manager.

This is a self-directed position where you will usually work alone, taking responsibility for prioritizing your daily workload to meet set deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus are essential for success in this role, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication.

To succeed in this role:

  • Prior experience as an Electrical Fire Technician or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of fire systems and programming fire panels
  • High level of technical knowledge
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to drive for work purposes
