Permanent Part-Time Nursing Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Permanent Part-Time After Hours Floor Coordinator.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of patients and families.

About the Role:

This is a permanent part-time role, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. As an After Hours Floor Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the care of patients during after-hours periods.

You will work closely with our Maternity Team to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and support throughout their stay.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the care of patients during after-hours periods
  • Work closely with our Maternity Team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience within maternity and birthing
  • Experience in neonatal resuscitation is required
  • Demonstrated ability to be an effective leader and role model
  • Sound computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
