Job Overview

This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on the environment while working in a dynamic team. As a Waste Management Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within our nation-wide waste management operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining designated work areas as directed by site leaders.
  • Direct customers to relevant areas for waste disposal.
  • Manual handling is required for this position.
  • Prepare plant and machinery work areas and assist operators as needed.
  • Contribute to other areas of the site as required.
  • Traffic control may be necessary from time to time.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid driver's license (Class 1 (NZ); Class C (AUS)) is essential.
  • Forklift Licence would be advantageous.
  • A Traffic controllers ticket is also desirable.
