Ultrasound Specialist Vacancy

The Royal Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Specialist to join their Medical Imaging Department on a part-time ongoing basis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality imaging services to patients and referrers in the Ultrasound Department.
  • Provide efficient and effective imaging solutions, including staff recruitment, training, and performance management in accordance with hospital policies and external professional standards.
  • Support junior staff in developing and achieving professional goals and objectives.
  • Manage a complex and varied clinical caseload, providing leadership in daily workflow and administrative duties.

Requirements
  • Post Graduate Diploma (or equivalent) in Sonography with suitable undergraduate Degree.
  • Accreditation with the relevant professional body.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in Ultrasound.
  • Previous paediatric experience is preferred but not essential.
