About The Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Teacher to join our team teaching English and Humanities subjects across Years 7-12.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies and practices.
  • Collaboratively develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluate their effectiveness; assess and report student progress and learning outcomes; and communicate these to students, parents and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture.
  • Proactively engage with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Establish positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and support their spiritual and moral development.

Educate students in accordance with the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.

To be successful in this position you will possess relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Create a supportive, learner-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Design and deliver effective curriculum programs in line with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • Commit to engaging with colleagues, students and parents/carers to enrich learning experiences and achieve optimal educational outcomes for students.
  • A passion to support students' spiritual and moral development.

This role does not require a Catholic background.
