Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Disability Support Worker in South Guildford. As a key member of our support team, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities.

About the Role:

  • You will assist clients with personal care and manual handling, including showering and bowel care.
  • Provide medication assistance and community access for social activities, grocery shopping, and appointments.
  • Support clients with complex and/or challenging needs, monitoring their well-being and reporting progress.
  • Attend required training sessions and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Available to work a range of day and sleep shifts.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in aged care or community services.
  • Experience supporting clients with challenging behaviors.
  • Working rights within Australia.
  • Flu vaccination evidence.
  • NDIS worker screening clearance.
  • Work with Children Check.
  • Australian driving license and car insurance.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination evidence.
