Job Title: Health and Safety Specialist
Description:This role is pivotal in supporting project delivery and enhancing safety standards across our operations, with a strong emphasis on compliance, leadership, and culture.
- Provide strategic guidance to the management team and broader organization
- Promote Jacobs' BeyondZero values and our Culture of Caring
- Evaluate compliance with our Business Management System (BMS) and relevant international standards
Main Responsibilities:
- Support and advise project and leadership teams on health and safety best practices, systems, and procedures
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify and manage risk profiles for Area HSE
- Maintain compliance with Jacobs' BMS health and safety requirements
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, codes of practice, and compliance procedures in Australia and New Zealand
- Experience in construction activities and field team support (preferable)
- Knowledge of project risk management and safety systems
