Grill Americano Sydney is a new restaurant opening this spring in Sydney, blending old-world European elegance with a contemporary edge to deliver a refined and immersive dining experience.

We aim to bring a new level of sophisticated dining to Sydney's culinary scene by providing exceptional service skills and guest focus, leading a high performing team, adapting and thriving in a dynamic environment and high-pressure service periods.

The Opportunity

We are seeking leaders in the industry to join our opening team. Be instrumental in delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests and team.

Must be willing to relocate to Sydney.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated restaurant management experience in a premium a-la-carte dining environment
  • Restaurant opening experience is advantageous
  • Proven track record in leading a high performing team
  • Exemplary leadership with a strong focus on crew development
  • Exceptional service skills and guest focus
  • Strong understanding of management and restaurant compliance practices
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment and high-pressure service periods
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Experience using a Time & Attendance, and stock management system
  • Exceptional communication and presentation
  • Available and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts
  • Must possess a valid RSA certificate
  • Qualification in Hospitality, Management or similar discipline
