High-Performance Project Manager

This position oversees the effective management of project sites, ensuring that all activities and resources are aligned with client and project requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in supervising teams and managing resources.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Maintaining the quality of output from site teams, adhering to company, client, regulatory, and contractual standards.
- Overseeing construction teams to ensure high standards are met.
- Optimizing resource utilization, including personnel, materials, machinery, and processes, to meet client demands within given timelines and budgets.
- Frequent communication with Project Managers, providing regular reports, updates, and feedback on construction progress.
- Ensuring that procurement, purchasing, and transportation of equipment for projects adhere to applicable rules and regulations.
- Reporting safety, environmental, community, or industrial relations incidents to relevant managers according to approved policies and procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Technical Certificate, Tertiary Education Qualification, Degree, or Diploma in Construction Management (desired) or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of 15+ years' experience in various aspects of construction supervision in mineral processing construction and related industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to provide mentoring and identify avenues for professional development and succession planning for personnel under your responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while consistently producing high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
