About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Scientist to join our Geoscience + Remediation Services Team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality environmental services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preliminary and detailed site investigations to identify potential environmental risks
  • Remedial action plans and site validation reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Site supervision and contractor management during remedial works to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Writing tenders and proposals to secure new business opportunities
  • Opportunities to travel across ANZ to work on complex projects
  • Project management of multiple projects depending on scope

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate discipline such as Environmental Science
  • Strong environmental experience within ground remediation and/or contaminated land
  • Experience in data management and preparation of environmental reports
  • Experience in managing complex remediation projects
  • Solid project management and coordination skills, commercial acumen, and emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive peer and client relationships and effectively manage resources, timelines, quality, and budgets
