Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parks Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the City of Armadale. As a key member of our Technical Services - Parks and Reserves team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous upkeep of our parks and green spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the operation of trucks and 4WD spray units for park and reserve maintenance.
  • Expertly utilize tractors and various 3-point linkage equipment as required.
  • Execute horticultural and landscaping activities such as earthworking, mulching, weeding, pruning, planting, and the responsible application of herbicides.
  • Proficiently use mowers, whipper snippers, and other small equipment for maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in large-scale parks maintenance.
  • Current MR/ HR licence.
  • Proficiency in operating a variety of horticultural plant and equipment safely and competently.
  • Previous experience operating ride-on mowers and powered spray units.
  • Ability to obtain a current National Police Check.
