Job Role Overview

The National Technical Training Manager is a key role that involves developing and implementing contextualized apprentice training programs nationally.

Responsibilities include conducting major account training on product ranges, providing basic level maintenance of purchased equipment, and supporting the National Technical Support team with overflow work.

Key tasks also include interacting with customers via our network portal to provide technical assistance, traveling to interstate branches and customer locations to implement basic training, and providing ongoing support to apprentices throughout the organization.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Trade qualified in a related field for 5-10 years.
  • Worked in a similar role for 3 to 5 years (preferred).
  • Hold a current Cert IV in Training & Assessment or be willing to attain it.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement training.
  • Familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft office suite programs.
  • Able to analyze and troubleshoot complicated technical problems.
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of OHS in the workplace.
