Apprenticeship Development Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key member in designing, coordinating, and delivering apprenticeship development pathways. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing TAFE integration, rotations, specialist programs, and skills development to ensure every apprentice has a structured and supportive journey that sets them up for success.

The role involves mentoring and guiding apprentices, working closely with trainers, supervisors, and TAFE partners to deliver training that is compliant, practical, and future-focused. You will also oversee TAFE integration, manage apprentice rotations across business units, and track apprentice progress and compliance records.

A Day in the Life of Apprenticeship Development Specialist

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and coordinating core apprentice programs, including hand skills, wiring, and digital pathways.
  • Overseeing TAFE integration and ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
  • Managing apprentice rotations across business units to build a broad skill set.
  • Tracking apprentice progress, competency achievement, and compliance records.
  • Providing mentoring, support, and guidance throughout the apprenticeship journey.

You will bring:

  • Experience in apprenticeship or workforce program coordination.

  • Strong mentoring, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
