Working Environment

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full-time duration or recognised equivalent.
  • WHS Responsibilities: taking reasonable care for yourself and others and complying with work health safety policies and procedures.
  • National Police Check.
Selection Criteria
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology with general registration and specialist endorsement in Clinical Psychology or working towards endorsement.
  • Knowledge of working with cognitive impairment, dementia and BPSD, including formulating behavioural management plans.
  • Experience in cognitive screening and/or neuropsychological assessments and report-writing.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and exercising independent professional judgement.
  • Ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation with staff.
