Human Resources Leader

This pivotal role shapes the organisation's workforce and culture by leading all facets of the employee lifecycle, managing compliance obligations, workplace health and safety, policy development, and safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage HR operations, strategy, and cultural initiatives to drive organisational performance.
  • Develop and implement recruitment, performance frameworks, employee relations, and retention strategies.
  • Oversee workplace health and safety systems and staff wellbeing programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain compliance-related processes, records, and policy frameworks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise on industrial relations matters including Fair Work, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements to mitigate risk.
  • Manage employment documentation, leave processes, and staffing budgets to optimise resource allocation.
  • Embed safeguarding practices across the organisation to protect employees and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field are essential.
  • Proven success in a senior HR role is required, preferably within a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act, HR legislation, and industrial awards is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and manage change is critical.
  • Excellent communication skills and high emotional intelligence are required to build strong relationships.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and familiarity with TASS is an advantage.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and ethical approach to leadership is expected.
