As a Senior Executive Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Vice-Chancellor and Chief of Staff, contributing to the effective operation and influence of the Office.


The successful candidate will lead and coordinate strategic projects, governance reporting, and executive communications, while managing operational functions and supporting divisional strategies. This requires a proactive and highly skilled professional with extensive executive-level experience, proven expertise in strategic communications, and the ability to manage complex projects with discretion and judgement.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that reports directly to the Vice-Chancellor and Chief of Staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and coordinating strategic projects, including governance reporting and executive communications
  • Managing operational functions, including finance, human resources, and facilities management
  • Supporting divisional strategies and initiatives, including talent development and succession planning

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver strategic communications, engaging diverse audiences with clarity and impact
  • Highly developed written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and briefings for executive and governance audiences
  • Proven capacity to lead projects, analyse complex information, and provide evidence-based recommendations
