As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping businesses grow by reviewing account applications and ensuring they meet our high standards.

Our Mission

The position is responsible for the underwriting review of new account applications as presented within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The review confirms the eligibility of the client or partner.

Responsibilities
  • Complete thorough reviews of client and partner applications, guaranteeing department SLAs are consistently met.
  • Ensure that Know Your Customer (KYC) and related regulatory requirements are diligently adhered to during the underwriting process so the company remains compliant with its Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) policies & Scheme Regulations.
  • Correctly interpret and apply card brand network rules to ensure only eligible merchant businesses are provided with a processing account.
  • Effectively communicate decisions and data needs with sales teams and business partners.
  • Participate in the ongoing periodic review of larger exposure merchant accounts to ensure the risk to Till payments from these accounts is properly mitigated.
  • Monitor fraud alerts and investigate high-risk transactions to determine potential fraud.
  • Implement and adjust fraud detection rules, processes, and systems to enhance detection capabilities.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant rules and regulations affecting the payments industry.
