Street Sweeper Technician

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Street Sweeper Technician to join our operations team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality street sweeping services across the Municipality, operating equipment safely, supporting continuous service improvement, and working co-operatively as part of a team to ensure our community stays clean and safe.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver daily street sweeping services
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Support continuous service improvement

Essential Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of procedures or practices in one function
  • A current Class C Driver's License
  • Ability to work early shifts and flexible hours as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately interpret instructions
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Possess and maintain a level of physical fitness sufficient to undertake the activities of the role
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service

Desirable Requirements:

  • Certificate for General Construction Induction (CIC – White Card) NSW
  • Experience in the use of handheld equipment, operation and driving the full range of street cleaning equipment, plant and trucks
  • Experience in driving various vehicles and plant for operation
  • Experience in Traffic Control Work
