Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role

The Financial Operations Specialist will work closely with Senior Finance Professionals and Business Partners to provide insightful financial support and drive business growth through effective financial planning, analysis, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month-end close; annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Providing detailed financial analysis and insights on revenue, profit margins, and cost trends
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to channel performance

The successful candidate will have expertise in sales performance analysis, revenue optimization, promotional activities, investment/cost control, and inventory management across the value chain. They will also be responsible for evaluating sales trends impacts, seasonality, product/customer profitability, analyzing brand/category/product mix, promotional effectiveness, and trade spend impacting overall profitability, customer inventory levels etc.

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Finance Professional in retail and/or FMCG environments
  • Strong financial expertise in forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and performance reporting
  • Bachelor's in accounting/finance; CA or CPA qualification preferred
  • Understanding of the retail value chain, pricing strategies, and inventory management
