About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of strategic infrastructure projects, driving continuous improvement and enhancement across the department.

As a key member of the Project Planning team, you will be responsible for high-level planning and assurance, supporting more detailed planning and delivery of infrastructure across the state.

Your expertise in business improvement opportunities, project life cycle management, governance, and risk assessment will be instrumental in identifying, analyzing, and recommending improvements to organizational processes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • IDentification, analysis, and recommendation of improvements to organisational processes
  • Support in coordinating and collating inputs and resources into a digital 'project planning handbook'
  • Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks to enhance project planning
  • Reporting clear updates and insights on business improvement initiatives
  • Preparation of reports, process documentation, and presentations to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Utilise data to assess the effectiveness of current processes and support the proposal of evidence-based solutions for improvement
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure effective implementation of this major government priority
  • Monitor the implementation of process changes and evaluate their impact

Key Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working within Government and/or Education
  • Demonstrated experience working on large projects/programs within the built environment infrastructure space
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams

Benefits:

  • $79.66 per hour + Super
