Senior Claims Manager Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Claims Manager. We're seeking an experienced professional who can effectively balance technical expertise with empathy, guiding the team through complex claims with confidence and care.

As a Senior Claims Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of life, disability, and income protection claims, providing expert advice, investigating and assessing claims, and coaching our team to develop their skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a variety of complex claims and implement proactive strategies to benefit both our members and stakeholders.
  • Engage with members and stakeholders to understand the full picture of their illness or injury.
  • Work with members, employers, healthcare professionals, and other key players to gather information, provide updates, and make decisions.
  • Support and mentor less experienced team members to help them grow.
Key Requirements:
  • Solid experience in holistic claims management and working with Early Intervention Services, Rehabilitation, and Community Services.
  • Experience in the life/disability insurance claims industry.
  • Ability to support and mentor others to develop their skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
