Job Description

ClearCompany is seeking an experienced Broadcom Symantec Data Centre Security Engineer to join their team for a long-term contract. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide detailed design for optimized solutions, improve the current implementation of Data Centre Security, and guide the team on end-to-end best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine operations, maintenance, and management of Broadcom DCS.
  • Plan, schedule, and implement periodic patch, bug fixes, and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
  • Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database (Standard Operating Procedures), update detailed design, and as-built documentation.
  • Server management migration from DCS to AppLocker.
Requirements
  • Experience in isolating and resolving the root cause of technical support issues.
  • Implementing daily health checks and configuring/managing reporting and knowledge transfer to other support staff.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft AppLocker and PowerShell.
  • Strong technical understanding of Broadcom DCS, including configuring and optimizing the product.
  • Strong understanding of the Essential Eight Application Control mitigation strategy and the applicable Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and how to implement them within Broadcom DCS.
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and implementing periodic patch, bug fixes, and major system upgrades for Broadcom DCS.
