Design Coordinator Role

We are seeking an accomplished individual to take on the role of Design Coordinator in our dynamic design team.

  • This key position involves playing a vital part in delivering high-quality design outcomes that meet our clients' needs.
About The Position

As a Design Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting with the overall coordination of the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery
  2. Ensuring compliance with programs, approvals, and legislative requirements
  3. Collaborating with consultants and stakeholders to ensure clear and accurate documentation
  4. Identifying and managing design risks and opportunities with a strong commercial mindset
  5. Ensuring documentation aligns with timeframes and quality targets
About You
  • Relevant degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Building Design or similar with proven experience working in a similar role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of the design management process and an understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and WHS legislation
  • Possess good commercial and technical awareness
  • Have strong communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the business
  • Act decisively with an ability to problem solve
