About the Role

As an Employment Support Specialist with APM Futures, you will play a vital role in delivering highly individualized employment supports to NDIS participants.

You will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and supporting personal growth, helping participants to develop and establish their vocational identity, tailoring their supports to their individual requirements.

  • Provide support and mentorship to participants that encourages skills development and increases their capacity for work
  • Deliver person-centered supports to participants transitioning from school to work
  • Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration
  • Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Able to pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Able to pass and complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
