Village Operations Manager

At our remote mining village in South Australia, we seek a skilled Village Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations.

  • Manage catering and cleaning services to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Drive consistent operational performance by setting and achieving targets for quality, cost, people capability, and safety.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure sustainable and profitable business.
  • Recruit, retain, roster, and manage permanent and casual workforces to meet business needs.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Village Management or Relief Management positions in a remote setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to build effective teams and communicate effectively.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and making informed decisions.
  • Chef qualifications desirable, as is proven management experience in the hospitality field.
