As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for assessing new business, additions, or alterations for Life risk products supported by Zurich. You'll develop and maintain relationships with our key advisers, ensuring effective management of a designated adviser panel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical advice and support to our advisers
  • Ensuring underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to all cases received
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key advisers
  • Effective management of a designated adviser panel

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive experience in underwriting individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance with high-level individual underwriting authorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Customer-focused with a solutions-driven approach
  • Completion of medical terminology course
  • ANZIIF and ALUCA CPLI certifications, strongly desired
