Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This highly rewarding and challenging role involves using AutoCAD and Revit to prepare and complete architectural drawings within designated time frames. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately completing architectural drawings with 100% accuracy to reflect customer requirements as described in the sales estimate, as well as in accordance with building regulations and Metricon standards;
  • Liaising with consultants, suppliers, and internal departments;
  • Maintaining and constantly developing thorough knowledge of Metricon products, services, and processes in order to complete work confidently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Formal qualifications in Architectural Drafting (Diploma or higher);
  • A minimum of 3 years' Australian AutoCAD and Revit Drafting experience, preferably within the volume residential building industry;
  • A strong understanding of the residential home building and construction process;
  • Exposure to and competent use of Building Standards and regulations;
  • The ability to communicate professionally, prioritise, and meet deadlines;
  • A high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken;
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
