Job Opportunity:

Criminal Lawyer Position Available.

We are seeking a skilled Criminal Lawyer with extensive experience in Criminal/Civil law, preferably with 4+ years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE).

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of relevant legislation and case law, including the Criminal Procedure Act, Evidence Act, Sentencing Act, Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act, Crimes Act, and Summary Offences Act.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a criminal lawyer, providing expert legal services to clients. The role requires excellent communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to interact with clients, opposition prosecutors, and other stakeholders. A keen eye for detail is essential, along with expertise in legal analysis, research, and drafting.

The successful candidate will possess strong business development skills, enabling them to grow client relationships and drive commercial growth. They will also have a proactive approach to managing client expectations and contributing to the success of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting legal documents for cases.
  • Providing effective and persuasive advocacy to attain optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Representing clients in Magistrates' Court and County Court appearances.
  • Traveling to suburban and regional Courts as required.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of PQE experience in Criminal/Civil law.
  • Deep understanding of relevant legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
  • Able to analyze complex legal issues and provide well-reasoned solutions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
