Warehouse Supply Chain Specialist Role Overview

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves managing warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, packaging & shipping and issuing of inventory from the warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing inventory management systems via USA systems to support project activities;
  • Managing and controlling inventory accounts including serviceable, repairable, quarantine and disposal accounts in accordance with defence policy and procedures;
  • Performing afternoons and weekend shifts, as well as on-call requirements;
  • Issuing and receiving inventory from the warehouse facility, and processing all aspects of receipt, storage, handling, packaging & shipping;
  • Raising high-priority demands in support of Amberley-based aircraft;
  • Supporting virtual C-17 international fleet partners by processing their requirements;
  • Gaining knowledge in packing and processing exports as part of the C-17 Known Consignor accreditation.
About You:
  • You have a desire to grow your knowledge and gain experience in supply support roles and functions;
  • You have a strong interest in gaining in-depth knowledge and experience in computerised inventory management systems and methodologies;
  • You possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications;
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential.
