Chemical Process Engineer

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Engineer I to join our Launch Vehicles department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing processes and related infrastructure to support our small satellite launch vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain plant and process to produce materials required for launch activities, such as Hydrogen Peroxide, Hydrocarbons, Polymers, and Ablative Materials.
- Manage and optimize cleaning processes of hardware for use with liquid propellant service.
- Design and develop solid rocket motors.
- Maintain proper documentation of all designs, drawings, and test plans.
- Conduct and review solid rocket motor engine tests and produce test reports.
- Support external suppliers to improve quality and supply assurances.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to develop and optimize production processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Process, or Chemical Engineering.
- Experience with catalysts and electrochemical production.
- Working experience in a processing facility, ideally handling dangerous goods.
- Working experience with relevant Australian Standards (AS4326, AS1894).
- Ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
