Senior Financial Accounting Professional

As a senior financial accountant, you will play a key leadership role within the finance team. This involves reporting directly to the head of corporate finance and compliance.
The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting and compliance obligations for our licensed brands and apparel divisions. They will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial reports, and preparing statutory financial statements and annual reports.
This role requires strong technical accounting skills, with a focus on solving complex financial issues and ensuring accurate treatment across the business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with stakeholders across commercial, brand, payroll, and shared services teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants
- Manage the timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial reporting
- Prepare statutory financial statements and annual reports
- Solve technical accounting issues and ensure accurate treatment across the business
- Monitor and manage corporate overheads and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Deliver reports and analysis highlighting financial risks and opportunities
- Champion finance transformation initiatives and strategic objectives
