As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide tailored, person-centred care in a residential setting, promoting independence, inclusion, and personal goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing respectful, high-quality personal care and mobility support
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including meals, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Supporting community outings and engagement in activities
  • Following and contributing to the participant's care plan and goals
  • Advocating for the participant's rights and independence
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in line with NDIS standards
  • Collaborating with team members and allied health professionals

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in disability or supported independent living (SIL)
  • Strong understanding of person-centred and active support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven reliability and initiative
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory)
  • First Aid & CPR (required or willingness to obtain)
  • Epilepsy & Medication Administration training (required or willingness to obtain)
  • Driver's licence and fully insured, reliable vehicle

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support or related
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs
  • Understanding of NDIS plans and participant-focused supports
