Position Description

Sync Lift Engineering are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated Diesel Fitters to join our growing Field Service Maintenance division. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable company servicing a wide range of clients across the mining and resources sector throughout the Bowen Basin.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting field service, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs on mining and heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Completing scheduled maintenance and servicing across various sites
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Working autonomously across various mine sites unsupervised
  • Complying with all site safety procedures and reporting requirements

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic certification
  • Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience in mining or heavy industry
  • Experience with CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, or similar equipment
  • Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
  • Standard 11 or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current manual driver's licence (HR advantageous)
  • Strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
  • Experience on drilling equipment also an advantage
  • Ability to work autonomously in remote locations
