Family Therapy Specialist

This is a part-time role that involves providing family therapy to client families where there are concerns about child protection and the likelihood of an out-of-home care placement.
The successful candidate will provide family therapy utilizing a specific model to help reduce risk in the home environment, with a focus on holding and reducing risk for the child/ren.
Key RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:
- A bachelor qualification in a relevant field such as social work or psychology.
- Postgraduate training in family therapy and systemic thinking is highly desirable.
- Experience working with families and adolescents is preferred.
The part-time family therapist will work within our children, youth and families program, based in Queanbeyan NSW. The position reports to the family therapist supervisor.
