The OpportunityWe are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Legal Assistants and Secretaries to join our Brisbane team on a part-time basis, working two or three days per week. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers and providing high-quality support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality, accurate work while managing deadlines and competing priorities.
- Manage the billing process for your direct team, including clients with specific billing requirements.
- Assist partners and lawyers with client and cost reporting requirements.
- Manage partners' internal and external appointments, including travel and diary management.
- Assist with meeting preparation and coordination of post-meeting actions.
- Experience in a legal secretary or legal administrative position is desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to think ahead.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise competing demands from multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to respond to changing circumstances and work to meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
