Lead ERP Migration Specialist

This role offers an exciting opportunity to spearhead the future of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) migrations and help Australia's public sector unlock greater efficiency and productivity through smarter migration strategies.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a highly skilled professional to consult on functional solution architecture, including determining solution landscapes and functional integration among various systems.
  • You will be responsible for consulting on application-specific solutions like SF Employee Central, involving creation of business cases, conducting process walkthroughs, implementation of solutions, creation of test cases, test scheduling and execution, key user training, go-live support, and post-go-live support.
  • Your expertise will also include performance of feasibility studies/solution reviews, supporting escalated projects, pre-sales activities/scoping/system demos, and customers at risk of renewal.
  • Detailed planning of solution/architecture implementation, supporting project management, and knowledge of HR theory and trends across multiple processes (e.g., Talent Management, Hire to Retire).
Key Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with sales and services teams to build business cases, qualify business drivers, estimate rough orders of magnitude, engage early in SAP SuccessFactors opportunities, and assess customer functional and technical readiness to move to SF and the Cloud.
  • You will support scoping workshops, emphasize customer-side readiness activities, validate effort estimates and high-level implementation timelines, provide support with scoping requirements, follow SAP Activate Methodology and project streams to implement projects, and provide instance strategy, integration strategy, data migration strategy, production cutover strategy, and post-go-live support strategy.
  • You will collaborate with consultants to manage project deliverables, coordinate with module leads, provide best/leading practices and guidance on cross-module process and data integration, participate in weekly project manager meetings (internal) and weekly consulting delivery meetings, maintain knowledge of SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors product-suite, and review periodic release updates.
  • You will lead small projects and change requests, ensure customer referenceability, work with broader SAP teams to create collateral (e.g., success stories, references, videos, quotes), and customer details are available in the Customer Reference Platform.
