Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Centre Cook to join our team at a local childcare facility.

• Create nutritious meals that fuel young minds and bodies, becoming a cherished part of our community.
• Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the centre director.
• Maintain high standards of food safety by ensuring all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.

• Prepare meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies.
• Plan and implement menus that meet nutritional needs and preferences of children.
• Source and manage food suppliers to ensure quality and freshness of ingredients.

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
